X5620 Ry. from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} c: Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} c. Mr.Brock. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}1/AD15.10.31. 25 HP. STARTER MOTOR. We have still got trouble with slipping with the starter motor on the 25 HP. in service. We find that we can add .020" on the present total thickness of the cork washers without any alteration to the design. This would then give us a total thickness of .488 which would help to prevent slipping and add life to the cork washers. The added compression ratios are getting too high for the present motor to deal with. A stronger clutch spring is required. We believe Mr. Davis is dealing with this but at the moment we have heard nothing further. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} | ||
