COPY. September 25th. 1939. Mr. Evernden, Chassis Dept., Rolls-Royce Ltd., Derby. Dear Mr. Evernden, You will be surprised to receive a letter discussing a matter of work, that is to say, our pre-war work. Since my last visit to Derby I have put up to you a demand made by Mr. Luickx, the body-builder who made the framework of the Corniche for Park Ward's. This gentleman had not received his cheque which should have been sent to him in payment, and I learn that during my absence he has renewed his application, having still not received his money - actually mobilised, he will be desirous of settlement. I am writing to you, therefore, so that you may be able to find a solution to this matter. Unfortunately, dear Evernden, I have nothing more to tell you about coachwork but to tell you it has ended absolutely, through Anglo, French and Germanic difficulties. I only hope that it will not be too long before we resume our correspondence again. Yours sincerely, S. Paulin. Hospital Complimentaire de Montgermont par Ponthiery-Pringy Seine et Marne. | ||
