STANDARDISATION of CHASSIS PARTS. Date 20.8.24.
Description of Parts. 20 HP. Battery Ignition Condenser with improved connections to Lec.1745 (See R7/M19.6.23).
Origin. Desirability of prevention of burning away of platinum contact points due to imperfect condenser connections.
Experimental Test Report.
A condenser designated 1C has been made to Lec.1745. This was received from the Shop on 18.10.23. and satisfactorily underwent our production test. It was then put on XXXX 6-G-11 and remained on that car until 10,826 miles had been completed, no trouble whatever having been experienced with the condenser and the platinum points remained in contd. over -
