Hallam - Head Repairs} H12/LH{Mr Haworth}10.5.29. ENGINE COOLING AND WATER CIRCULATION. --------------------------------------- With reference to PN{Mr Northey}1/WT10.5.29. and Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/NM's suggestion some days ago that it is possible that a number of our customers are in the habit of using anti-freezing mixture in their cooling water, I circulated all the Inspecting Engineers. MK, St and FBS{F. Bell-Scott}, - who have the more northerly districts, have replied saying that they have not yet come across a single RR. owner, whom they know to be using an anti-freezing mixture. This information agrees with what we know in London. We cannot call to mind having had the use of such a mixture mentioned to us by an owner or driver. Possibly the Repair Department could give us further information. | ||
