Brake Linings

Herewith two sample sets of Brake Linings submitted by Messrs. Morgan Crossley & Co.Ltd, of Miles Platting, Manchester, following our conversation with them.

One set, i.e. that marked "F", is more flexible and slightly softer than their standard, whilst the other marked "M" is the hardest hydraulically moulded grade they produce. Both have been produced to give less than their usual co-efficient of friction, and are made from pure Asbestos, free from Cotton.

Messrs. Crossley will be particularly interested to hear the result of our tests in due course, and are quite prepared to submit any further samples we may require in varying degrees, should the result of our tests prove same necessary.

ROY.{Sir Henry Royce}

2 sets of Linings to accompany this Memo.
