When our Works re-open we will examine the depth of case etc. and let you have our further remarks, and in the meantime, we should like to have your opinion as to the possible mean and maximum loading which occurs at the pitch circle of the tooth form.

We trust the foregoing will be of assistance, for your immediate requirements, and will write further in the course of a few posts, after our Works have opened.
