17th. June 1938.

Messrs. Clayton Dewandre Co. Ltd.,
Titanic Works,
LINCOLN.

For the attention of Mr.S.E.Willett.

Dear Sirs,

We forwarded you on Wednesday the Bentley radiator matrix unit which you had agreed to test for us. We would be glad if you could complete the test and return this unit at your earliest convenience as we are requiring it for the car. The conditions of test will presumably be similar to those of the previous test which you have made on radiators for us.

We would mention that the water flow for this radiator is likely to be zero at approximately 2000r.p.m. (4 m.p.h) or thereabouts, 20/25 gallons per minute at 4500 r.p.m. (90 m.p.h.) the flow following the approximate straight line law between these figures.

We would be glad if you could let us know when we are likely to have this unit returned.

Thanking you for your kind offer to make these tests for us,

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
