In France a temperature of over 80°C. was recorded on this car, the atmospheric temperature being in the neighbourhood of 30°C. and the car driven hard, increasing the heat radiated from the exhaust pipes. Driving the car for any length of time under these conditions to say the least of it, is extremely uncomfortable, and emphasises the necessity for improved ventilation.
