83269 To EJJ. From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.22/MJ.10.8.34. BUMPER TEST RIGS. In order that the two Bumper Test Rigs may be completed as soon as possible we are ready for the dynamometer not to be included with the scheme. That is, both rigs will be similar, and with the cams removed from the drums, will be capable of driving a chassis at high speeds. The dynamometer at the moment is not satisfactory as it cannot deal with enough torque. Before the dynamometer is re-installed the necessary modifications must be made, and although we should like you to go ahead with these, we do not want to hold up the bumper rigs for the dynamometer.
