BJ18/M19.1.28 With reference to R2/M31.12.27, at a conference at Derby yesterday, at which were present C., Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}, Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}, Rg.{Mr Rowledge}, Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and BJ., it was arranged that everything possible should be done to introduce the changes as soon as possible, and pushforward with testing of these parts for 10,000 miles in order that they may be standardised. In the meantime only a sufficient quantity of material will be put in hand to keep the Works fully employed. BJ. | ||
