RE "O.S." PETROL INDICATOR.

It appears you have been in correspondence with the ATELIERS SEIGNOL, 17, Rue Duret, Paris, or the "OS" Speedometer people in London concerning their new Petrol Gauge.

Mr.Seignol to-day called and took me to his Works to explain the difficulties of fitting his apparatus to our tanks owing to the baffles plates and lateral tubes approaching too near the centre of the tank. He asked me to write you to endeavour to fit his gauge to a tank which you could modify specially for the test, and if you find the gauge interesting you could perhaps slightly modify your tank to suit.

Ps.

PS- They ask us if we would permit them to fit their gauge to one of our cars here in order to ensure the correctness of the fitting, and for us to watch closely its behaviour. This perhaps would not be very satisfactory from a Policy point of view.
