BENTLEY 50 MATERIAL COSTS In reply to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/R.1.12.37 re material costs for the above car, and taking the present cost sheets as a basis from which to work, we can effect a saving of approx. 58% by the following methods:- (1) Substitution of Mild Steel for Staybright. (2) " " Nickel plated mild steel lagging covers for 15% nickel steel covers. (3) Substitution of Jubilee clips for Staybright clips.
