We send you herewith a blueprint of LeC. 2926., shewing the first drawing completed in connection with the revised J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} 3.
This drawing shews the general scheme of the engine in which an austenitic cast liner is used in conjunction with a monobloc aluminium cylinder and crankcase casting.
Alternatively this can all be made in ordinary cast iron if it is deemed at any time desirable.
R.{Sir Henry Royce} would like you to go ahead with any of the detailing work that can be put in hand from this drawing.
E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
