Re: 20/25 Crankshaft

On examination of the standard 20/25HP. crankshaft forgings we find there is insufficient material for the balance weight face as called for on LeC 2908.

We are therefore of the opinion that a preliminary drawing of the necessary alterations to existing dies be sent off immediately to the Makers of the forgings, so that this can be proceeded with.

This will provide material for either balance weight or standard type of crankshaft to be produced from the same forgings.
