THE EFFECT OF THE ADJUSTING NUT CLIMBING OVER ITS V SHAPED LOCKING NOTCHES IS A SAFEGUARD TO PREVENT THE BRAKE SHOES BEING ADJUSTED TOO CLOSELY TO THE DRUMS.
BRAKE ADJUSTMENT SUGGESTED BY MR ROYCE FOR GOSHAWK.
THIS ADJUSTMENT IS SIMILAR IN PRINCIPLE TO THAT USED ON THE 40/50 CHASSIS BUT HAS FEWER PARTS.
