tray on the facia board should be discouraged as it comes in close proximity to the wheel leaving insufficient clearance for the control of the steering wheel on acute bends. ~~There was a rattle from the steering wheel on acute bends.~~ There was a rattle from the controls and the push button for the horn, the latter being most pronounced. SIDE & CROSS STEERING TUBES LOP G 100443 RR SCH 184

LOP F 100274.

The friction load of the side and cross steering tubes remained consistant throughout the mileage. The lubrication to the ballends was ample.

The fitting of F 100162 springs with spring guides F 100844 and F 100845 to the rear ends of side steering tube did not give the selectivity desired.

FRONT AND REAR BRAKE EQUALISERS LOP G 100531 RR SCH 156-9-192-3

LOP G 100540 N.S. 3532 G.L. 607.

The equalisers did not show any weakness, wear was normal. Lubrication was on the excessive side. The supply should be reduced.

WATER PUMP CONNECTION.

The Ex 9978 gland (BZ/G) for the water inlet replacing E 100189 Alum. gland was quite satisfactory.

EXHAUST SYSTEM RR SCH 293-296-213 COMPLETE TO ARRGT. EX 10368

FRONT RESONANCE EXPANSION BOX MODIFIED TO HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 911 PLAIN TAIL PIPE 1.750" DIA.

The design of the exhaust manifold appears to be quite satisfactory. There was no sign of fracture either on 2 PER II or on 3 PER II.
