Herewith are the oil consumption test figures :- 1. Car as received from Repair Dept. Oil pressure at 2,700 r.p.m. Max. position, needle on the stop 225 M.P.G. 2. Cylinder Block and Pistons changed. Oil pressure as in test 1. 564 M.P.G. 3. New Cylinder Block and Pistons. Oil pressure reduced to 35 lbs. at 2,700 r.p.m. reading 7 lbs. at 500 r.p.m. 926 M.P.G.
