| 2004. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}9/R.23.2.38. A Bentley running in France has been suffering from poor carburation under conditions of snow. I experienced this feature myself. It is due to the fact that now we have dispensed with Bentley radiator shutters, under bonnet temperature gets lower than previously. Sometime ago a scheme was got out for using the rocker covers and air intake which might materially improve matters. If these parts have not been scrapped, we think it is worth giving them a run on test. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
