Referring to the letter ref.D/CH.7996 of the 22nd December last from Messrs. Everett, Edgecumbe & Co.Ltd., in answer to your ROY {Sir Henry Royce} /GEA10/FJ201222, in which there is a quotation for an electrostatic voltmeter of range 1000 to 5000 volts, we should be glad if you would enquire of this firm if it would be possible for them to supply suitable apparatus to extend the range of this instrument to 10,000 volts, or even 20,000 volts, and would they quote for such apparatus.
