1st September, 1938.

Messrs. Rolls Royce,
DERBY.

For the attention of Mr. C. S. Steadman,
Experimental Dept.

Dear Sirs,

Referring to recent letters dealing with fan belts, we have now secured from our factory, which has reopened after the holidays, information respecting mould equipment charges incorporated in our quotation to you, as follows:

EW.1775. 1,200 belts, price 2/5d each.
Equipment write-off included - 8d per belt.

E.89343. 200 belts, price 6/8d each.
Equipment write-off included - 5/- per belt.

Orders subsequent to the quantities as stated above would not bear the equipment charge, and a corresponding reduction in the billing price would be made.

At your convenience we should appreciate the proposed visit to inspect belts and the method of manufacture.

Yours faithfully,
THE GOODYEAR TYRE & RUBBER CO. (GT. BRITAIN) LTD.
