With reference to Br2/H29.8.32. We have recently completed tests on the heavier exhaust valve which overcomes the difficulty of stretching valves which you mention. We are about to circularise a Depot Sheet recommending this modification in cases of trouble, and this will put the matter in order. It should be possible to obtain material from the Works as this modification has been standardised and will shortly be on production.
