COPY From LEYLAND. 'STILL' TUBE RADIATORS "We have had one or two instances brought to "our notice in connection with overheating on vehicles equipped "with 'Still' tube radiators. "On investigation it has been found that this "trouble has, in most cases, been due to the fact that the "radiator tube fins have become clogged with dirt and flies. "It is, therefore, recommended that the radiators themselves "be thoroughly cleaned from the back of the radiator, by "using a pressure hose at regular intervals, particularly in "the Summer. "It is also recommended that when machines are "docked, the radiators should be stripped down and thoroughly "cleaned. A satisfactory means of ensuring that the tubes "are clear, is to pass a rod down each tube. | ||
