We have recently completed a number of tests, both here and at Brooklands, on the Wraith cooling system and a complete report on this will shortly be issued.

One fact which emerges from these tests, however, is that we want to use the fan as instructed in the specification for the six production cars, but with the fan blades moved forward towards the radiator matrix. The amount which, according to our tests, we would like to move it is .750", however, the fan would then foul the radiator yoke cross' stay unless the latter were modified. Will you please modify the fan details to move the blades as far forward to this figure of .750" from present position as is practicable without making any serious modification to the yoke stay.

If this alteration can be incorporated on the six production sets we should like it done, either by altering the length of the hub or by means of a suitable distance piece.
