The action was found to be very smooth and the machine passed the Production and the engine tests fairly well except for its low torque on the teaser and load tests.

It is our general experience that sequence motors receive too much lubrication at the commutator end and we think that some reduction in the supply of oil from the central lubricating system might be considered.

The motor has been returned for replacing on the car.
