EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} and I have tried the London Trials Car fitted
with the new type rear shock absorbers. On those car, when
travelling over a smooth road, it was possible to hear a noise
coming from the ptrol tank caused by the action of the shock
absorber. We think we may be able to overcome this by
arranging the slotting of the inner plates differently. In
the meantime we think we should stop the works from slotting
any of the new steel plates which work on the rotor.
