To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst. 6110. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst.1/AP.7.6.37 RE: HIGH TENSION WIRE With reference to GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}'s note, the matter was already dealt with in correspondence with Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} The first intimation we had that Cricklewood were requiring this wire was received under cover of memo Br/BK.{A. Birkett - Commercial Manager}3/JS.{Mr Johnson's Secretary}1.6.37 and we replied the same day pointing out that they could obtain their wire through the usual channels from the Stores, as we cleared Production with the correct cable two or three weeks ago. Therefore, I cannot understand GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}'s reference to the effect that we have not replied to their memo. In any case, I have a memo from Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} in which he acknowledges receipt of my memo and states that he isobtaining the necessary supplies of cable. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst. | ||
