So that you have six schemes to try, some of which should shew improvement. In conclusion, you will remember that the 20 H.P. Austin and the DeLion and very many others have single plate clutches which were reported to give great satisfaction. The sixth one is one in which the plate between the friction surface and the hub is corrugated, each having its own temperature and altering to its own diameter.
