20 H.P. Right-Hand
Control Levers.

With regard to the right-hand control levers on the 20 h.p., which have recently been designed by R.{Sir Henry Royce}, please let me know how soon you can let us have a car or chassis fitted with dummy levers in the exact position in which they will be placed, in order that we may ascertain how far they will interfere with the bodywork and whether they are comfortable for the driver with the varying rakes of steering. It is very important that we should decide these points before the designs and experiments have progressed too far to make alterations easily.

I have noticed that quite a number of cars have the change speed lever longer than the brake lever, so that one can easily manipulate the change speed lever without touching the brake lever.
