PHANTOM III - PETROL PUMPS.
---------------------------

In reply to your letter of the 15th inst. you will have seen from the correspondence that S.U. themselves rather went back on the position discussed when you were at their Works to the extent that they did not desire us to fit the fabric which was available at the moment, as they were satisfied that the cotton material was open to question, and they propose awaiting delivery of diaphragms for which they themselves have supplied a special cotton fabric.

Again since then Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/KW.19.9.36. raises the question as to whether it is advisable to make the change at all without a test.

The whole matter becomes increasingly difficult.
