Re 37-EX. Petrol Filter.

Although the Coachbuilders were instructed to build their bodies for Olympia on the understanding that the petrol filter would be on the side of the chassis frame, apparently Messrs. Park Ward & Co. did not observe this instruction, as Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FD{Frank Dodd - Bodies} informs us that when mounting their Show body on chassis 37-EX the petrol filter fouls the vertical edge plate of the bottom side by approximately ½".

We confirm that you verbally agree on this chassis to try out the scheme of mounting the petrol filter on the second cross member, which scheme we hope to standardise as soon as possible, as this will overcome the trouble.

We are taking the matter up with Messrs.Park Ward & Co. together with a lot of other points in connection with this body.
