With regard to failures of the Lucas RW.1 type of wiper, the information you give us is rather surprising as we have had three or four cars so fitted for a long time, and have experienced no trouble at all with them; they have been the quietest and most satisfactory wiper we have ever used. The explanation may be that our wipers are the first of this type that were made, and are probably a better job than the subsequent production prototype.

We will let you know in due course the result of our bench tests on the Klaxon wiper.
