NAVAL GUN. We attach hereto sketches showing the modifications which we have recommended to rectify the trouble mentioned in our letter of 23.10.40. and which have been agreed to by the L.M. & S. The point arises that the first 7 mountings have been sent out with the loose washers which caused the original trouble. If you think it necessary or desirable to have these mountings brought into line with those after the first 7, we shall be glad if you will take the necessary action.
