As agreed in discussion with By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} today, you will instruct the bonnets for the 100 Wraith chassis (to be ordered shortly) to be in 12.SWG. (.104) material- both top and side plates. This step is to be taken in view of the fact that it has been decided not to attempt to get the Kidney Hinge on these 100 cars and since the thin gauge plates are unsuitable for usewith our present bonnet rest buttons.

This will necessitate no alteration to radiator or dash rest angles.

We still wish 26.G.Vl.{V. Lewis / Mr Valentine} and the six production chassis to have the 16.SWG. top plates.
