Broken downtake pipe on a 25/30 HP exhaust system after 7,405 miles.

Exhaust System: The downtake pipe to the front expansion box has broken up about 3" down from the top flange after 7,405 miles. It does not appear to be burnt thin, the metal has just cracked in all directions above and below the break, and a piece about one inch square has fallen out.
