FRIDAY.

Messrs.Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
Nightingale Road,
Derby.

Dear Sirs,
For the attention of MR.MILLS.

We beg to confirm the visit of our representative, MR.Edwardes, and as arranged we are sending you by the same post, one dozen AC Plugs No.18 CPT, for testing purposes, and we trust that you will give these plugs a thorough test, letting us know the results which you obtain.

Our representative informs us that you have a preference for a multiple point plug, and we wish to inform you that we made plugs of this type formerly, but abandoned this construction some time ago as the result of conclusive tests.

Our plugs are the outcome of fourteen years' experience, and we are convinced that both in design and material they are as good as can be made at the present time.

We would especially draw your attention to the quality of our insulator, it is non-porous and will not absorb oil, we have sectioned plugs after much service and find them absolutely clean in the interior. This insulator also has very high dielectric qualities.

The porcelain of the plugs which we are sending you for test is of our carbon-proof type, which does not allow a carbon deposit on the surface on the porcelain to cause misfiring through short circuits. This type of porcelain has given most satisfactory results. Trusting to hear from you in due course.

We remain,

Yours faithfully,

For & on behalf of:-

A.C.SPARKING PLUG CO.

(Sgd.) R.A.Chalmers.

Managing Director.
