| - 2 - E.2/HP.26.4.33. ------------ this is only in conjunction with powerful torque reaction dampers between the frame and the engine. We do not know whether heavy damping of this nature is permissible on Bentley, but we do know that it cannot be used on the 20/25 chassis. Our view, however, is that No.2. scheme is so easy to try that it is worth making the experiment. Regarding scheme No.1. this will probably mean new dies for the central forging carrying the engine mounting, as well as a modification to the radiator bottom tank. The modified instructions will be issued within the next two or three days. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
