X.3923a 6.EX CAR FOR MR. ROYCE.

With reference to 6.EX Car for Mr. Royce. So far there is no luggage grid instructed for this car. We do not consider the samples made by Messrs. Holmes are worth fitting. We should like to know whether there is any design of luggage grid you would like fitted to this car.

As I mentioned to you, the spare wheel carrier with the ball ends and set-up spring is not a success because there is not sufficient friction in the ball ends to prevent the dummy hub falling and banging the body. It is also very difficult to get the wheel on because it is necessary to hold up the dummy hub and lift the wheel on at the same time.

We should ne pleased if you will instruct us what to do with 6.EX Car.
