We attach herewith an estimate from Messrs. Sanderson & Holmes for repairing 24-EX. body (which was involved in an accident some little time back). The estimate covers alterations to the scuttle to make it suitable for the latest standard dashboard, and also covers mounting the body on 19-EX. chassis.

The proposal is that 24-EX. body is mounted on 19-EX. in place of the present body on that chassis which is less modern than 24-EX. and which in addition requires reconditioning (this would cost £60).

We propose to bring 19-EX. chassis right up to date, which involves dashboard, bonnet and radiator modifications. At present we have no right hand car representative of present production, and it appears more satisfactory to adapt a modern body to the latest dashboard profile than to use the out of date body on 19-EX.

Will you please give your agreement to this coachwork expenditure.

Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/A.J.Lidsey.
