OIL PUMP. (SS.{S. Smith}25, 26, 27)

The oil pump is driven from the camshaft by a steel shaft which is 12" long and .494 diameter fitted with gear, which is fixed to the shaft by a key.

Outside diameter of gear 1.1718 and has 11 teeth.

Shaft also drives the distributor.

2 spur gears in the pump.

1 gear is in steel 1.3915 o/dia. and 1.250 long. 12 teeth.

2nd. gear is in a bronze alloy 1.3915 o/dia. and 1.250 long, 12 teeth.

Pump Casing is in a heavy section C.I.

RADIATOR.

FAN AND WATER PUMP. (SS.{S. Smith}34).

Fan and water pump are one unit fitted to the front of the cylinder block.

Pump discharges direct into cylinder block.

The fan is a 6 blade unsymmetrical type and 13.900 o/dia.

Fan is fixed by four .250 set screws.

Blades are fixed to fan flange by three mushroom headed rivets. Thickness of blades 15 SWG. (.072)
