In all probability the chief cause of your trouble with the horizontal carburetter is that the bend you are fitting is not heated. If this were heated efficiently I think your distribution troubles would disappear. With regard to the vertical type S.U., when you fit this will you please fit it with the suction chamber pointing towards the bonnet as this helps the distribution. We have, of course, had cases of jet and needle wear, but it has always been on account of the fact that the jet has not been centred correctly to the needle. I shall be very interested to come up and have a talk with you about these in general when you are ready for me. As regards the Petrolift being noisy, do you find that it is on the road, or is it only noisy when first starting to pump? In any case it can easily | ||
