From Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X3900 Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}4/T.24-9-27. Phantom. American Front Road Springs. BJ. is anxious to settle the question of making springs similar to RR. of America. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} informed us the other day that R.{Sir Henry Royce} had agreed to us making Springs in a similar manner to the American Springs. Could you kindly push forward this matter, in order that we may, as quickly as possible, use springs similar to Springfield. Possibly there is a Standardisation sheet to be issued. BJ. says in a note that he wants us to take this matter up direct, that he was not able to discuss it with R.{Sir Henry Royce} owing to other urgent business. [signature] | ||
