Clarifying a misunderstanding by Mr. Royce concerning a 20-degree angle axle and gears on Chassis 2300.

Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}31/P/L25314, we wish to explain that Mr Royce wrote under a misapprehension. Chassis 2300 was sent to him to try being fitted with "20° obliquity helical engine gears", and on the list that was sent to him with the card this experiment was abbreviated into "20° obliquity gears". This mislead Mr Royce into thinking that the rear axle was fitted with 20° obliquity gears, and he wished you to try the car because the rear axle seemed a good one.
