Bentley. The scale to be set out as hereunder :-

True Speed. (m.p.h.)    Indicated Speed. (m.p.h.)
10    10 - 12
20    20 - 22
30    30 - 32
40    40.5 - 42.5
50    51 - 53
60    61.5 - 63.5
70    72 - 74
80    82.5 - 84.5
90    93 - 95
100    103.5 - 105.5
110    114 - 116

Spec. EL.8/8. 10/43 Axle Ratio :-

Calibration Speed of 762 r.p.mile for mileage recorder.
Each instrument will be tested at :-
743 r.p.m. when indicated speed must be 60, +2, m.p.h.
1223 r.p.m. when indicated speed must be 100, +2, m.p.h.

Spec. EL.8/8A. 10/41 Axle Ratio :-

Calibration Speed of 727 r.p.mile for mileage recorder.
Each instrument will be tested at :-
709 r.p.m. when indicated speed must be 60, +2, m.p.h.
1170 r.p.m. when indicated speed must be 100, +2, m.p.h.

Spec. EL.8/8B. 11/41 Axle Ratio :-

Calibration Speed of 660 r.p.mile for mileage recorder.
Each instrument will be tested at :-
644 r.p.m. when indicated speed must be 60, +2, m.p.h.
1063 r.p.m. when indicated speed must be 100, +2, m.p.h.

Spec. EL.8/8C. 12/41 Axle Ratio :-

Calibration Speed of 605 r.p.mile for mileage recorder.
Each instrument will be tested at :-
590 r.p.m. when indicated speed must be 60, +2, m.p.h.
973 r.p.m. when indicated speed must be 100, +2, m.p.h.
