Attached herewith please find 6 Forms which we have filled in as far as possible for the information of Sales. The general condition of the first four Cars recently received from U.S.A. can be classed as almost new and their price as given to us in letter from U.S.A. ref:- CY2/G30.10.20 is as follows:- *Make of Car. Price at Springfield including Approx: transportation charges, war tax equivalent in 5% and usual equipment. pounds sterling at 4.80 to the pound. Buick(1921)model. $2000.00 417 pounds. Essex - 1945.00 405 " Hupmobile - 1865.00 389 " Dodge - 1435.00 300 " These were prices ruling at the time the cars were bought. Due to the slump, the values of most cars are now dropping 10 or 20 per cent". The Packard condition can be classed as having had 12 months running. The other Buick as having been run 2 years.
