To EH. from R.{Sir Henry Royce} Copy to CJ. " " BN.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} " " DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} " " BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} ORIGINAL. RE TYRE VALVE ON 1 EX. x. 2565 It was noticed on 1 EX that the tyre valve was in the wrong position relative to the spokes, to enable the rear tyres to be pumped up while they are on the chassis. The choice in the position for the hole for the valve should be settled by examination of the wheel on the car, and not the wheel removed from the car as appears to be the case.
