re Phantom II Chassis.
----------------------

We are preparing for publication a revised list of accessories necessary and optional for the above chassis and want to incorporate on the list of optional items the special grease which we understand is necessary for the back axle.

During a conversation with Mr. Walker [Watson struck through] he stated that the most suitable grease found up to the time he left the works was 'Whitmore's Compound' made by Messrs. Buck & Hickman of Birmingham.

Will you please confirm to us, if possible, by return that this is the grease which we should show on the accessory list and let us have your recommendations as to the quantity required for say 1,000 miles, Perhaps, to save time you will also kindly ascertain the price from the Accounts Department of the amount you suggest.
