X.1109. Extract from E2/G22.12.19. X.1109 - PRODUCTION TESTING OF INSULATION MATERIALS X.1627. Mr. Royce wishes that the necessary space should be allotted in the works and the necessary apparatus got together for the organised production testing of the insulating materials we are using. At present this latter is not being done, but it is very necessary that the paper and linen, etc. that we are building into our electrical apparatus should be placed between two surfaces and subjected to a voltage to determine that its insulating value is up to the relative standard that we require, and above all things be able to select the best varieties offered. | ||
