We realise that more work is entailed in fitting up this car with the two leading shoe brakes than would be the case with standard brakes. This is because the 2.L.S. brakes have been made interchangeable with standard brakes. However, 7.B.V. brakes are so bad that something has to be done to them, so we prefer to use this car for the experiment. We believe all that is necessary is a pair of back plates.
