Dear Sirs,
We notice from your advertisement in "Automotive Industries" of August 18th that you are producing a new type of steering gear.
We should like to try this on one of our cars. Our present steering box overall reduction ratio is about 12 to 1 on a car weighing 2,000 lbs. on the front wheels.
We shall be glad to have particulars and prices of any steering gears you supply which would suit the car.
Yours faithfully,
FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
