HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} 328 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}13/AP.6.5.37 4.050 Centres Over Drive Gearbox. In view of the failure on gearbox 7.HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} of the bronze bushes in the 3rd. speed pinion, we want to have hardened steel bushes in the box you are building for 32.EX. This also applies to any other boxes of this type. The bushes should be free both on the inside and outside diameters and should run at the same clearances as the normal bronze bushes.
